 Environmental Management System
A certified environmental management system regulates the processes at Menshen GmbH & Co. KG which are related to work safety and environmental protection.
It integrates environmental goals and environmental programs in the company organisation, guarantees their maintenance and provides for their implementation. Consequently, the Environmental Management System forms the basis for operative environmental protection and sustainable development at Menshen GmbH & Co. KG. Protection of the environment and the climate has been a part of Menshen’s self-image for many years. In order to make environmentally related processes within the company as efficient as possible, we established an environmental management system some years ago.
It provides environmental protection aspects in Menshen’s entire sphere of activity and is based on nine environmental guidelines that we require of ourselves.
Menshen considers occupational health and safety as very important. The guaranteeing of safety and the protection of employee health during all occupational activities is a fundamental obligation of the company. Establishing a maximum of practiced occupational health and safety is a task that serves to protect all employees.
One of the pre-conditions for working safely, is by working professionally. By doing this, the company’s operating efficiency is also increased.
Hygiene Management
As a supplier of packaging materials in the foodstuff and pharmaceutical industries, we see it as our responsibility to take all precautions for avoiding impurities or endangering our sensitive products. In order to meet this responsibility and to uphold the trust given us by our customers, we have imposed hygienic regulations and process cycles in all relevant areas, which must be observed by all employees and visitors.
Our hygiene management system contains measures for personnel and company hygiene, as well as a systematic danger analysis for safeguarding that our products remain harmless to one's health.

We already fulfil our process oriented quality requirements at the project planning stage, so that we can offer guaranteed safety for all of our products.
