MENSHEN looks optimistically to the new year and strengthens sustainability measures

The Finnentrop closure specialist Georg Menshen GmbH & Co. KG was able to slightly increase its turnover in Germany last year and is once again optimistic about the future. “2022 was turbulent for all of us and we had to implement some tough decisions. The reorientation and focus on innovation and sustainability is not yet completely finished, but overall it is on a good path” says MENSHEN Managing Director Jochen Mahrenholtz.

For example, MENSHEN will be able to further reduce its carbon footprint in the future by investing in and switching to inline production.

In 2022, the classic customer companies from the food, detergent and cleaning products or cosmetics sectors were partly reluctant to invest due to fluctuations in the end customer business or simply for risk reduction reasons. “With the loosening of the energy market, customer enquiries for new closures, e.g. solutions with recycled content, are increasing again,” confirms Eric Dauer, Head of Sales.

For the further implementation, the company is therefore selectively looking for creative employees in the areas of personnel, production, logistics and project management for the newly created tasks.

Overall, MENSHEN is thus looking positively towards 2023, but must remain agile and flexible.
